Demolition!

Hey! It's Liz and Ashley!
We just got back from tearing down a garage. It was our first project of the trip.
Yesterday, we stayed in the youth room of Forrest Hills United Methodist Church. It was really nice and Craig, who let us in, was really friendly!
We woke up today at a lovely 7am and went to breakfast at the Coliseum Hospital in Macon, GA. Which was a great way to start off the day. Then, we headed to the job site to tear down the garage. It was really great getting to use a sledge hammer for a great cause! We broke apart all of the wooden frames and filled up a garbage dumpster with debris.
We have enjoyed some bumps in the road, nothing too serious. Just some brake issues with our van. We are getting it fixed but are having some fun transporting the group in Rebuilding Macon vehicles instead.
Now it's lunch time! (We do love our food) Then we are headed off to paint some houses! Hopefully we won't encounter any rain!
