Day 2

This is Kayleigh and Elizabeth!
We were able to get the van fixed yesterday so all of our minds are put at ease. Last night, we had dinner with Boston University ASB at a nice house on the river and enjoyed a nice hometown pizza.
This morning we woke up to a somewhat chilly morning but we were prepared to paint for the day with warm clothes. We quickly finished our two paint jobs and enjoyed our sandwich lunch.
After lunch, we retuned to the Rebuilding Macon office and helped Deborah with replanting nine bushes. While gardening, the temperature increased so it was a nice, sunny afternoon.
We enjoyed a cookout with the BU students and some local Maconites. One woman even "Yankee" pasta salad.
We enjoyed painting and helping the people who lived in the two houses. We are really excited to finish the rest of the paint jobs tomorrow.
